Brevard County Animal Care Center offering free adoptions for the month of December

The South Animal Care Center is located at 5100 West Eau Gallie Blvd. in Melbourne
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Animal Services offers free dog and cat adoptions for the month of December.
Offer includes free kennel, month’s supply of dog food, spay / neuter, microchip, ongoing vaccinations, free medical insurance through Trupanion, and county tag (with approved claim) .
As a reminder, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Animal Care Center also offers a one (1) hour obedience class every Saturday starting at 9:30 am.
BCSO asks citizens interested in the course to register with the staff at the health center at 9:20 a.m.
The course is open to anyone who has adopted a dog from BCSO Animal Services, as well as to community members who have made an appointment to return a dog to their shelter.
The course focuses on basic obedience and solving minor behavioral issues for your furry friend.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey and Space Coast Daily continue to work together to find forever homes for the animals currently staying in the Southern Animal Office of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

Those interested in adopting a pet can visit the BCSO South Animal Care Center, open Monday to Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m.
