National Cabot Day, which was formed in 2005 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige, celebrates mixed canine breeds and raises awareness of the number of mixed breed dogs occupying shelters. National Cabot Day is recognized twice a year. The first day will be Sunday, while the second will be December 2.
